Safer Employment Training for School Staff and Governors

Aims to:

  • give participants an awareness and understanding of offender behaviour
  • identify the key features of staff recruitment that help deter or prevent the appointment of unsuitable people
  • consider policies and practices that minimise opportunities for abuse or ensure its prompt reporting
  • help participants begin to review their own and their organisations’ policies and practices with a view to making them safer

Course Fees

(Payable 10 working days prior to the first day of the course) All dates include refreshments

  • A £150 per person for course (day and half) for maintained schools
  • B £300 per person for independent sector including Academies who do not subscribe to the safeguarding service
  • C Free for Academies who subscribe to our service
